About Penny Mulligan

“I have tried in my work to transpose the quality of spontaneous line drawing into linear metal sculpture.  Most of the sculptures are made to move gently so that the forms and negative spaces between are always changing and re-arranging themselves.  I do all my own work and enjoy the surprises that occur between the initial sketch and finished fabricated sculpture.” – Penny Mulligan
