Gerard Tsutakawa has created numerous public and private commissions, both nationally, as well as abroad, including “The MITT” at Safeco Field, the “Thunderbolt” at the Four Seasons Hotel & Residences downtown Seattle, the “Fountain of Seseragi” at the Seattle Center and the “Urban Peace Circle Memorial Sculpture”.
“My newest artwork still tends to draw from natural forms and the human spirit, although it is still abstract and inspired by allegorical themes. For me the sculpture’s role is to engage a dialogue with the viewer and present a clear, evocative, fluid form.”
