Seattle Art Fair Returns this July 21-24

Seattle Art Fair, presented by AIG, returns to the Lumen Field Event Center this July 21-24 for the fair’s celebrated weekend, bringing 85 top local, national, and international galleries together with the region’s strong collector base. Seattle Art Fair’s anticipated sixth edition will also highlight the region’s museums and institutions, while featuring an array of innovative installations, events, talks, and performances throughout the fair’s public spaces.

Alden Mason: Fly Your Own Thing

Celebrating a Northwest Icon at the Bellevue Art Museum from May 14 – October 10, 2021

This is the first comprehensive museum exhibition for Northwest artist Alden Mason since his passing in 2013. Mason was a prolific painter whose exuberance and inventiveness in form, color, and style helped pave the way from the aesthetics of the Northwest School to midcentury modernist art in the Pacific Northwest.

Susan Bennerstrom receives the Artist Trust 2020 SOLA Award

Artist Trust awards the 2020 Irving and Yvonne Twining Humber Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement to Ross Palmer Beecher of Seattle and three SOLA Awards to Susan Bennerstrom of Bellingham, Carol Gouthro of Seattle, and Barbara Sternberger of Bellingham.
