Seattle Art Fair, presented by AIG, returns to the Lumen Field Event Center this July 21-24 for the fair’s celebrated weekend, bringing 85 top local, national, and international galleries together with the region’s strong collector base. Seattle Art Fair’s anticipated sixth edition will also highlight the region’s museums and institutions, while featuring an array of innovative installations, events, talks, and performances throughout the fair’s public spaces.
Alden Mason: Fly Your Own Thing
This is the first comprehensive museum exhibition for Northwest artist Alden Mason since his passing in 2013. Mason was a prolific painter whose exuberance and inventiveness in form, color, and style helped pave the way from the aesthetics of the Northwest School to midcentury modernist art in the Pacific Northwest.
